Sharon "Germaine" F. Stone, age 84, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born March 4, 1932 in Green Bay, the fourth of six children to the late Cliff and Florence (Jagodzinski) Stone.

Germaine graduated with a Master's Degree from the University of Iowa, DuBuque and was a school teacher for 48 years.
Germaine was a devout Catholic. God was the center of her life.
Her interests included, going out to eat, walking in the mall, shopping, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a spiritual woman who cared for many and giving woman who will be dearly missed.

Sharon is survived by her sister, Sharon Berceau; nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Marve and Pete Stone and sisters, Dot Beyer and Sandy Blaney.

Visitation will be held at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD PARISH (2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay), Monday, May 16, 2016 from 3 to 4:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 5 PM with Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials directed to Lymphoma & Leukemia Society in Sharon's name are appreciated.

Germaine's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Heartland Hospice and Woodside Lutheran Home for their exceptional care of Germaine during her final days. She greatly appreciated all of those who showed their love and support by visiting her at Woodside.
