Virginia R. Greene, 81, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026 at Caraton Commons. She was born on September 20, 1944 to the late Daniel and Maida (Olson) Greene in Green Bay. Virginia graduated from Preble High School and furthered her education by going to school to be a hairdresser. She also went to school to become a cook and a baker. Her schooling lead her into working for Holiday Inn, Daddy's Restaurant, and Copp's bakery. Virginia was an avid crocheter for over 40 years, donating to different women's and men's homeless shelters and Salvation Army. She loved taking care of her fur babies, and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her three loving children: Ginnie (Ralph) Duron, Duane (Melissa) Poplin, and Chris (Leah Sablad) Poplin; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Rachel Farvour, and further survived by her cat, Baby. She was preceded in death by her parents: Maida (Marvin) DeBaere, 3 siblings: Edwin, Patricia, and Daniel (Sharon) Greene; and one brother-in-law, Patrick Farvour.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave Green Bay from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
