Timothy B. Willette

Timothy B. "Tim" Willette, age 65, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, August 11, 2022, as the result of an accidental fall at work. His wife was by his side as he peacefully took his last breath. He was born December 3, 1956 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, son of the late Russell and Mary Lou (Burke) Willette and was a graduate of Sault Area High School, Class of 1975.

Tim went to Sault College in Canada for certification to be a Machinist. His first job as a machinist was at Soo Welding. He relocated to Green Bay in 1977, where he worked for FMC Corp. Currently he was employed as a machine inspector at ACMF in Ashwaubenon. Timothy married Deborah Bedore, August 19, 1978 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and they shared 44 years of marriage and adventures. Tim was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts of America and in his early days was part of the Pals program in Green Bay and most recently was reunited with one of his Pals, Clint – all grown up.

Tim was a devoted husband and proud father who was very active in his son's life. He was a Boy Scout Leader and helped his son, Ted become an Eagle Scout. Tim had a great sense of humor and was always joking around, making people laugh. Tim was passionate about cars and motorcycles and you could often find him in his garage tinkering with his latest project. Tim and Debbie enjoyed all of the adventures they shared as part of their Adventure Group, including Axe Throwing, Segway Tour, Skeet shooting, Mini Race Car Driving and many more. This group has become their family.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Debbie, his son, Ted, a sister, Sue Willette, a sister-in-law, Kathy Willette and many, many close friends who they have also considered family both in Green Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Willette.

Special thanks to Tim's brother in law, Bill Bedore for being there for Debbie thru this journey and all of Tim and Debbie's friends who reached out for support.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, August 26, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM. A Knights of Columbus Honor Guard service and memorial will follow at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the Pals Program of Green Bay, Knights of Columbus Green Bay Chapter #5382 or Unity Hospice in Tim's name are appreciated.

Deb would like to extend her heartfelt gratitude to Unity Hospice, palliative care, the 9th Floor and ICU staffs at St. Vincent Hospital for their care, support and compassion. She would also like to thank the Chaplains that offered their prayers.
