Listen to Obituary

Timothy "Tim" H. Doemel, 84, of De Pere, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1941 to Carl and Lydia (FiField) Doemel in Green Bay, WI.

Tim graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1960. On June 21, 1960, Tim enlisted into the United States Air Force and served until 1964. On September 25, 1965 he married Mary Bougie at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. They were blessed with their first child, Tim Jr., on July 7, 1966 and their second, Stephanie, on August 17, 1971. Tim was proud to have worked for Proctor & Gamble for 29 years before his retirement in 1997.

After his retirement, Tim volunteered for several organizations around the Green Bay Area. He volunteered at Paul's Pantry on Tuesdays, and for Bellin Health on Wednesdays. He also volunteered for the Town of Ledgeview to help with voter registration. He regularly enjoyed visiting with friends over a cup of coffee. Tim had a strong faith and was an usher for Resurrection Catholic Parish in Green Bay. He was also a member of AA for over 30 years.

Tim found great joy in helping others. He was known for his caring nature and great sense of humor. He loved getting to know others and would always offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Tim's family was a huge part of his life. He loved camping with his family and spending time at the family cottage in Florence. He enjoyed playing Cribbage with his grandson, Logan. Tim and Logan also participated in Bike to the Beat every year together. He treasured the time spent going to his grandson, Greyson's guitar recitals and watching his sporting events. Stephanie has many fond memories of skiing and biking adventures with her dad. Tim was inspired to start reading by his son, Tim Jr. and enjoyed watching Tim Jr. act in the Green Bay Community Theater, which sparked a passion for the whole family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his daughter, Stephanie (Tom) Koceja; his grandchildren: Logan Koceja and Greyson Koceja; his siblings: Jessie Buys, Joan Wolfe, and Cheryl Martin; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Tim Doemel, Jr; his siblings: Cora Barribeau, Alwin Doemel, and Rodger Doemel.
