Terence Walter Quigley, age 88, died peacefully on June 16, 2026 following a brief illness.
Terry was born in 1938 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Walter and Alice Quigley. He attended West High School and subsequently joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in Georgia and later in Greenland. During his military service, he met the love of his life Linda Gulley. And on December 20th, 1958, the couple was united in marriage.
Terry graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and the University of Georgia, where he earned a Master’s degree. He also attended the University of Colorado, where he completed doctoral coursework toward a PhD.
He worked as an environmental engineer for several years, traveling across the country for his career alongside his family. He was an avid astromer and chased many eclipses. He was a lifelong Packer fan and enjoyed watching other sports as well. In his later years, he returned to live in Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents; and his brother, Donn Quigley.
He is survived by his five children: Cathy Tolbert, Susan Quigley, Andrea Dearnley, Daniel Quigley, and Mary Beth Quigley. He is also survived by many grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews who live in Green Bay. Special thanks to his nephews Tim Quigley and David Gorin and the folks at Oddfellow nursing home who cared for him so well.
Terry's Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI) with his Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM. With his burial at King WI Veteran Cemetery.
