Sue Manteufel

Susan "Sue" M. Manteufel, 59, of Green Bay, passed away on August 4, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1966 to John and Marilyn (Servais) Ganter in Green Bay. Sue graduated in 1984 from Green Bay East High School. On June 3, 1989, she married the love of her life, Michael Manteufel. Sue loved going to live music events and she followed a lot of local artists. She had a zeal for being around beaches and water. She was always up for a good adventure, whether it was going to Door County wine tasting, a walk in the woods, or going to a museum. Sue loved dogs and being around animals, and will be dearly missed by her loving companion, Zelda.

Sue is survived by her loving children: Mike (Allison) Manteufel, Jr. and Amanda (Russell) Smith; her furry four-legged grandchildren: Zoe, Leo, Gizmo, Daisy, Zero, and Sully; her father, John (Carol) Ganter, one sister, Tina (Eric) Novotny, one sister-in-law, Wendy (Bill) Jolly, godson and nephew, Justin Novotny, nephew, Jason (Missy) Jolly, and niece, Kristy (Roman) Aronstein; further survived by many dear friends and other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Manteufel Sr., mother, Marilyn D Ganter, parents-in-law, Al and Lu Manteufel, and one sister-in-law, Lynne Manteufel.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life at a future date.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Vincent ICU and especially Arnel and respiratory therapist, Karen for all their care, comfort, and support that was given to Sue and the family.
