Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Shannon Nicole Puente, 47, of Green Bay, on November 4, 2026.

She was born on December 9, 1978 to Richard Jevorutsky and Linda (Dereszynski) Bradle in Marinette, Wisconsin. Shannon was lovingly known as her Dad's "Fuzzy Bear", a nickname that stuck with Shannon for her entire life.

Growing up, Shannon loved her time at the farm with her grandparents. As the oldest of three children, she loved playing and causing mischief with her younger siblings, Matthew and Kyla. Some of her favorite childhood memories included her time spent with her Aunt Leanne "Beno". Beno and Shannon had a bond that included playing Barbie's and chasing the dogs around the farm.

She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1997. She worked different jobs throughout her life, but her two favorites were Dan's Tree Service and Forefront Dermatology, where she created special friendships with her coworkers.

Shannon met the future love of her life, Luis, in grade school. The two became friends and remained in each other's lives until after high school. Later in life, they reconnected at Luis' niece's quinceañera. From that day on, they were inseparable and married on December 31, 2022. The New Year's Eve event was a celebration to remember. Shannon knew Luis would never forget their anniversary if it was on New Year's Eve.

Shannon had a big personality and a love for her dogs that matched it. She loved all her dogs immensely: Chela, Diamond, Kash, Chapo, and her newest puppy, Luna.

Shannon made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was known for her loyal, selfless nature and often helped others whenever possible. Her loving sarcasm made her the life of every party and family get together. She adored her nieces and nephews and often spoiled them with love, gifts, and her time.

Shannon is survived by her loving husband, Luis Puente; her father, Richie Jevorutsky; her mother, Linda (Jim) Bradle; her brother, Matthew Zeitler; her sister, Kyla Zeitler; her aunts: Leanne (Randy) Hoffman, Sharon (Dan) Herbes, and Laurie (Carl) Cooper. Shannon is further survived by her seven cherished nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her aunts: Janice VanderBloomen and Julie Jeavons; and her cousins: Gabe and Brandon.

A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate Shannon will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301) at 4:00 PM. Family and friends will have the opportunity to gather for Visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
