Sarah Jean (Thomas) Gomoluch, age 81, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1944, in Los Angeles, CA.
Sarah spent her early years in California and was primarily raised in Everett, Washington. She met Richard Gomoluch in Everett, WA, in 1963 and they soon eloped in Coeur d'Alene, ID. A significant chapter in her life came in 1977, when she moved from Washington to Wisconsin, where she continued to build her life and raise her family. Sarah and Richard were married for 59 blessed years before Richard passed away in 2022.
Sarah worked at Osco Drug/CVS for many years until her health prompted her retirement. She enjoyed the occasional casino bingo night, reading, and gardening, taking particular pride in her flowers. A lifelong sports fan, she remained active in her younger years and carried that passion forward by watching a wide variety of televised sports, with a special emphasis on Seattle-based teams. Her favorite athletes were her children and grandchildren. Known for her feisty and stubborn nature, Sarah operated at her own pace and left a strong impression on all who knew her. Her greatest pride and joy was raising her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gomoluch; her parents, Doss and Jean Thomas; and her brother, Lynn (Esther) Thomas.
Sarah is survived by her children, Ron Gomoluch, Greg (Krista) Gomoluch and Jennifer (Matt) Clark; her cherished grandchildren: Derek Gomoluch, Keaton (Audrey) Gomoluch, Joshua Clark, and Mason Clark; and her brother, Glenn (Eileen) Thomas. She was also eagerly anticipating the birth of her first great-grandson. She was further survived by a brother-in-law, John Steshetz.
A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), March 29, 2026 from 2 to 4 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Richard, in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
Sarah's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cardinal Ridge Residential Care and Unity Hospice for their compassionate support and the dedicated care they provided to "Sare-bear" during her time with them. Your kindness meant the world to her and to us.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
