Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother Rosemary "Sis" Tilkens of Allouez, WI on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St Vincent’s Hospital. Sis was born to Raymond and Lucille Molitor in Lena, WI on October 7, 1934,

Sis graduated from Lena High School in 1952. Sis worked for the telephone company in Green Bay for a number of years, when she met her loving husband Lloyd Tilkens at Kroll’s East. They were married for 48 wonderful years before Lloyd passed away in 2004.

Together they raised five children and Sis dedicated her life as a stay at home Mom for her children.

Sis loved her family, her grandchildren and great grand children. She was an enjoyable conversationalist with her close friends and strangers alike. She enjoyed traveling with her husband around the United States and to Europe, after they retired. But special to them was the majority of their time spent at their home on Kelly Lake.

Sis is survived by her children, Jeff (Kathy), Brad (Sue), Tami (Jim) Loreti and Teri (Jim) Jorgensen. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Cory ( Abby), Blair (Hammam), Gregory (Rachel), Derek, Chiara (Cody) Cole, Sara (Alex), Rob (Jenny); and Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Ruelle and Romaine Vanderleest and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Lloyd, son Scott, mother Lucille, Father Raymond, brother Mickey, Mother and father in-law, Ralph and Dolores Tilkens.

We would like to thank St Vincent's Hospital, Unity Hospice and the staff at The Courtyard Assisted Living for their wonderful care.

By Sis’ request a private funeral was held at Resurrection Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sis’ honor to Unity Hospice.

She will be forever loved and missed. We will never forget her infectious laugh and sense of humor.
