Listen to Obituary

Ronald Gegare, born on April 1, 1941, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025 with his family at his side.

Throughout his career, Ronald dedicated himself tirelessly. He worked for 15 years at Gegare Tile, after he ventured into self-employment, operating Gegare's Cafe and Saddle Shop Stiles for three years, before his 20 years with the Cream City Supper Club, Oconto.

Ronald was proud to have served his country in the Navy for four years, an experience that shaped his character and deepened his respect for service. His commitment extended beyond his professional life and into the personal realm, where he cherished his family above all else.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Yvonne Gegare, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Ronald was a loving father to his four sons: Dan (Lisa) Gagnon of Oconto Falls, Allen (Connie) Gegare of Crooked Lake, Paul Gegare of Oconto, and Eric (Tammy) Gegare of Oconto. He took great pride in being a grandfather to his nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to his eight great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember the joy and wisdom he brought into their lives. As well as his sister, Marion (Florian) Steeno, Howard.

Ronald enjoyed numerous hobbies and interests that brought him happiness, including fishing, horses, wintering in Texas, and caring for his lawn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ruth Gegare, and his sister, Patricia Burke.

Ron's Family would like to extend a special thank you to Doctors and Nurses at Bellin, and to Father Nuisi for their kind and compassionate care of Ron.
