Passed away on November 3, 2022 at 81.
Born on January 17, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He married Doris (Pug) Bourassa May 9th, 1970 at St. Peter's Church in Oconto, Wisconsin.
Survived by wife, Doris; his two sons, Jim (Maria) Filter of Suamico and Tom (Sharon) Filter of Abrams, and four grandchildren, Rhian, Lucy, Jayla, and Hunter.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Sr. & Hulda (Heil) Filter, and his brother, Edwin Filter Jr.
He served in the army from 1963 - 1965. He was also the past Commander of American Legion Post 74.
He retired from A.O. Smith in Milwaukee.
Private services to be held by family.
