Robert "Bob" Tilly, age 93, was reunited with his wife. He passed away on January 1, 2023 at Tender Hearts Assisted Living. He was born on April 13, 1929 in De Pere the son of the late Fredrick and Irene (LaRock) Tilly. He proudly served our country in the Army shortly after World War II joining when he was only 17. Bob was united in marriage on May 9, 1952 to Charmaine "Sherry" Lonzo in Marquette, MI. Their marriage was blessed with three children. He was a millwright at Proctor and Gamble for over 35 years, and retired in 1989. Bob was an avid motorcyclist, "Biker Bob", bought his first bike in 1948 and owned many through the years. Bob was well known for spending hours in the garage re-engineering or modifying anything he could find. On January 4, 2022, Bob accepted Jesus into his life as his Savior after many heartfelt conversations with the family and the Stauffs.
Bob is survived by his three children: Michael (Julie) Tilly, Debbie (Jerry) Schmit, and Pat (Sharon) Tilly; four grandchildren: Hollie (Adam) Surber, Jeremy (MaryJo) Schmit, Shawn (Jacklyn) Tilly, and Kimberly (Mike) Lapacz; 10 great-grandchildren: Sydney, Sebastian, and Sullivan Surber, Christian, Cameron, Ethan, and Gavin Schmit, Jaxon and Cooper Tilly, and Colton Lapacz; further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sherry in 2007, one brother, John (Beverly) Tilly, and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
