Rick Scray, 66, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, at home with his wife by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rick was born on December 2, 1957 in Green Bay, son of the late Gordon Scray and Leona (Tappa) Knaus.
Rick was a proud Union Ironworker with Local 8 for 30 years. Rick always had a smile, telling jokes or pulling pranks.
Rick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cathy (Bielski) Scray; sister, Sharon (friend, Jim) Dickinson; brothers: Roger Scray, Ron (Lisa) Scray and Dave (Mary) Scray; step-brothers, Ron (Dawn) Knaus and Jeff (Karen) Knaus; step-sister, Gail (Henry) Close; aunts, Dee Kaminski and Loretta Vandenelzen and an uncle, Jerome Scray. He is further survived by sister-in-law, Linda (Mike) Whitman, brothers-in-law: Chris (Pam) Bielski, Mike (Sue) Bielski and Jeff (Beth) Bielski along with mother-in-law, Patricia Bielski and special nephew, Jon (Rosie Cecchi) Whitman and their special kids, Stella and Cooper. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Terry Dickinson and father-in-law, Gene Bielski.
