Richard "Dick" Gene Fischer, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at Allouez Senior Care.
He married Judith Ann (Adam) Fischer on June 28, 1964, after meeting in Milwaukee. Dick was born November 9, 1937, in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin and was the third oldest of ten siblings. Together Dick and Judy have three daughters, Wendy, Julie and Paula, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In 1999, Dick retired from Hillshire Farms after 19 years of service and had 32 years of total experience in the meat packaging industry.
Dick traveled to Alaska numerous times for his favorite hobbies: Fishing and Hunting. He also enjoyed his time traveling with Judy to Tennessee and exploring the national parks in Utah.
Dick is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters: Wendy Kryshak, Julie (Larry) Pomasl and Paula (Brad Menting) Moseng; five grandchildren: Karissa (Tyler) Glass, Logan Pomasl, Michael Pomasl, Trevor Roellchen and Brandon Moseng; two-grandchildren, Riley and Kacey; one brother, Irwin (Sandy) Fischer; two sisters; and in-laws, Randae and Arnold Anderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; parent-in-laws; his siblings; son-in-law, Kevin; and one sister-in-law, Sue.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Our Savior Lutheran, 120 S Henry St, Green Bay, WI 54302, on Thursday, December 18, 2025. A time for family and friends to visit and pay respects to the family will begin at 9 AM until the time of the service at the church. Private burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Suring, Wisconsin.
