Richard L. Blaser, lovingly known as Rich, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at the age of 73, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on October 28, 1952, in Oconto Falls, to Jerome and Agnes (Wesolowski) Blaser, Rich’s life was deeply rooted in the community he loved.
Growing up on a dairy farm in Oconto Falls, Rich embraced a life of hard work and care—tending to animals, cultivating the land, and nurturing a talent that would define his professional life. As a Master Auto Technician, he earned many certifications and became the trusted problem-solver his coworkers depended on. His passion for fixing what others couldn’t and his joyful storytelling about those moments brought smiles to many faces.
Beyond his skilled hands, Rich found peace and pride in his garden, spending countless hours nurturing prize tomatoes he delighted in sharing with friends and family—a simple gift that reflected his generous spirit.
A man of profound faith, Rich held close the words of John 3:16 and was a founding member and elder of Riverview Alliance Church. His devotion extended beyond worship, generously giving his time to the Kingdom Come Food Pantry, helping those in need with kindness and grace.
Rich’s legacy lives on through his loving children (with Barbara Courchaine Tremblay)—Cory (Patty), Angela, and Jacob (Ashley)—and his stepdaughters (with Faye Blaser Rogers) Kristen (Mike) Elliott and Jessica (Brad) Casale. He treasured his grandchildren Jake, Luke, Roan, Kaitlyn, and Logan, and was beloved by his brothers Tom (Linda), Dave (Pam), Don, sisters Kathy (Greg) Bauer and Chris Sievert, brother-in-law Jim Sievert, as well as nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ray (Sue).
A visitation to honor Rich’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at Riverview Alliance Church, followed by funeral services at noon, with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions to the Kingdom Come Food Pantry, continuing Rich’s mission of service to others.
His family invites all who knew him to share memories and messages of love, keeping his spirit alive in their hearts. Rich’s life was a testament to faith, dedication, and extraordinary kindness — a true blessing to all who knew him.
