Rhonda Buechner, 74, of Forestville, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at her cherished home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 13, 1951, in Manistique, MI, to Albert Welch and Maxine Gagnon, Rhonda's spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
A devoted member of the customer service community in the food industry, Rhonda’s vibrant personality brightened the days of many. Her genuine love for people shone through in everything she did, from her captivating craft projects to her delicious home-cooked meals. Known for hosting the biggest and best parties, she brought laughter and warmth to countless gatherings.
On November 9, 2006, she found her forever partner in Mark Buechner, a gentle soul with whom she shared endless adventures. Together, they journeyed through life, creating beautiful memories on motorcycle trips and vacations to places such as Arizona, Florida, and Tennessee. Rhonda always cherished the quality time spent with her beloved family, treasuring each moment as a gift.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Mark; her three children, Gordon Wilker Jr., Shawn (Diane) Wilker, and Tara Lynn; as well as grandchildren: Nicholas, LeMae, Sadie, Desiree, Hayden, Brady, Miranda, Myha, Maleya, and Rosie; and many great-grandchildren who will carry her spirit forward. She is also remembered by her siblings: Diane Kerridge, Darlene Topel, Sharon (Troy) Hoover, Steve (Alice) Welch, and Bobby (Lynn) Burns; and many other relatives and friends who held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three beloved siblings: Albert Welch, Alvin Welch, and Cindy Welch.
In honor of Rhonda's remarkable life and legacy, her family will host a Celebration of Life in the near future; to share many kind memories of her wit and charm.
The family would like to express a thank you to Unity Hospice, especially Katie, all their their care, comfort, and support that was given to Rhonda and the family. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
