Rev. Patrick Green

Rev. Patrick N. Green passed away on May 15. He was born on March 1, 1928 to Lily and Norman Green. He graduated from Green Bay West High School, St. Norbert College, and Garrett Theological Seminary. On June 11, 1955, he married Kathryn Allen. They had two sons: Frank K. [Kelly] Green, wife Lynette, and their children Caitlin (Wes) and Logan (Taylor); and Daniel A. Green, wife Karie, and their children Stephan, Alison (Logan), and Kristen (Joe).

Pat served churches in Linden, Edmund, and Pleasant View; Wild Rose and Dopp; Green Bay Bethany and Suamico; and Wisconsin Rapids, where he retired in 1993.

Pat’s hobbies were music and photography. He sang in Gospel quartets in Wisconsin Rapids and Bethany. Everyone knew he always had a camera and a harmonica with him. He was also an army veteran from the Korean War, and a member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years.

Newcomer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Visitation will be at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay, on May 23 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Unity Hospice, Bethany United Methodist Church, or Suamico United Methodist Church.

The family wants to thank Bellin Home Healthcare, Unity Hospice, and all the friends and relatives for their loving support.
