Peter William Weyenberg, age 58, of Green Bay passed away at a local nursing facility on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Peter was born July 31, 1964. He attended the University of Wisconsin earning two different master's degrees in business: one at Green Bay and one at Oshkosh. Over the course of his life, he worked in a variety of food service operations and roles including Taco Bell, Michael Jae's, Shenandoah at the Oneida Raddison and the Olive Garden. Most recently, Peter worked at Humana Insurance and finally as the Operations Manager for Knight Transportation in Green Bay.
Throughout his life Peter was unapologetically Peter, and long before it was 'cool' to do so. To those who knew him, Peter will be remembered for his individuality, cherished for his humor, respected as a consummate Packer's fan and loved for eternity.
Peter is survived by his brother, Thomas J Weyenberg, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, along with many cousins. A special thanks to his special friends Kevin and Kate, Cindy and Dennis, and Aunt Shirley, the medical staff, and all of the incredible family members who supported him when he needed it most. Peter was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Darlene (Luedke) Weyenberg, Grandparents Milton and Margaret (Sheedy) Weyenberg, Roy and Marie (Andrews) Luedke.
Peter's CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be in the future and friends and family will be notified at that time.
