Paul "Pete" Raymond Gillstrom Jr., 63, of Green Bay, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1961 to Paul and Sara (La Valley) Gillstrom in Stillwater, MN.
Paul worked for Paper Converting and Machine Company, a Barry Wehmiller Company, for 29 years; he had many good relationships with coworkers and various other people he would meet at his delivery stops during the day.
One of Paul's favorite hobbies that he talked about was when he trained and raced greyhounds. He liked being outdoors and fishing. He enjoyed bird watching, especially the eagles at the Brown County Fairgrounds and the cardinal that he would "talk with" almost every day at home. Paul shared his love of nature by posting his pictures of beautiful sunsets, the river and wildlife, including deer, that he and his mother would feed. He enjoyed get togethers with his brothers and sister, his nephews TJ, Matthew, Logen and Jordan. He also had a fatherly role in Nick's life. Paul had many roles and titles in so many people's lives: friend, nephew, uncle, brother, son, father, but his favorite title was PaPa.
Paul is survived by his mother, Sara Simon; his daughter, Noel (James) Howell; grandchildren: Bella, Charlie, and Hudson on the way; siblings: Matthew Gillstrom, Anna Gillstrom, and Harold Gillstrom. Pete is further survived by many other nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gillstrom Sr. and his papa, Gary Simon.
