Paul J. "Pauly" Moran

Paul J. "Pauly" Moran, age 65, of Green Bay, passed away at his home, Monday, June 9, 2025, due to natural causes. He was born in Green Bay, December 13, 1959, son of the late Clarence and Clara (VanGheem) Moran and was a graduate of West De Pere High School, Class of 1978.

Paul continued his education at NWTC in Sturgeon Bay, where he earned his certification as a diesel mechanic. He retired from the City of Green Bay Parks and Rec Dept in January of 2021, after 33 years of dedicated service.

Paul was well known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Watching Wisconsin sports was one of Paul's favorite past times. Paul enjoyed camping at Wildlife Campground and spending time with his beloved feline companions, Tramp, Luke, Charlie and Turbo.

Paul is survived by 6 siblings: Patrick (Linda) Moran and their children and families: Phillip, Renee and Nickolas; William "Bill" (Patti) Moran and their children and families, Becky and Mandy; Richard Moran; Mary Beyer and their children and families: Dan, Greg and Angela; John (Colleen) Moran and their children and families, Cori and Kimberly and Joe (Linda) Moran and their daughter and family, Erin. He is further survived by his cat, Turbo, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Herbert Beyer.

A casual celebration of Paul's life will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. Please come as you are and bring a story to tell! A memorial service will follow at 12 NOON.
