Paul A. Haney, age 67, went to our most merciful Lord surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
Paul was an extremely talented musician who was recognized as the best saxophone player to hail from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is remembered by friends and family for providing music locally along with his siblings in the "Haney Family Band" and then traveling with his brother, David, and their show band "Charms" for five years. Paul did live in the Los Angeles area for many years and showcased his talent with other musicians until returning to Green Bay to be near family as his health declined. No matter where he lived he always remained a Packer Fan!
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Gerald Haney; his brother, Patrick Haney; nephew, Cody Michael Farr; nephew, Todd Oshefsky; and sister-in-law, Jean Haney.
Paul is survived by one son, Evan Haney of Chicago, IL, Evan's wife, Frenchiee and their two children. He is also survived by his siblings: Colleen Smits (Max), Michael Haney, Gregg Haney (Lannea), David Haney (Tory), Kelly Haney, Shawn Haney (Lisa), Stacey Farr-Jensky (Scott); one sister-in-law, Rebecca Story-Haney; his most special friend, Laurie Van Der Wegen; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The family of Paul Haney would like to extend our love and sincere gratitude to Laurie for the devoted and tender care she gave to him over the years. You are so very appreciated!
In lieu of any public visitation or service, the family will have a private "Celebration of Life" per his wishes.
