Patricia Louise Smeester

Patricia Louise Smeester, 81, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2026.

She was born on October 1, 1944 to Louis and Ann (Raspor) Perlongo in Iron River, Michigan. She graduated from Stambaugh High School in 1962. She went to Beauty School in Green Bay and her first job as a hairdresser was in Niagara, Wisconsin. On August 21, 1965, she married Thomas Smeester in Gaastra, Michigan. The two resided in Green Bay, Wisconsin and raised four children.

Patricia enjoyed crafting, ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren and her furry friends.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; four children: Tim (Barbara) Smeester, Todd Smeester, Troy (Kristi) Smeester and Tamara (Eric) LeDuc; grandchildren: Miranda Malone, Liam Smeester, Roiana Smeester and Parker LeDuc; and one great-grandchild: Jaylen. She is further survived by her sister, Diane Shalda, and her nieces, Kris Shalda and Kelli Geronime.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Ken Shalda.

A gathering for friends and family to come and celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 12 PM NOON until 3 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54301.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Green Bay Humane Society in Patricia's name.
