Patricia Ann Peer

Patricia Ann Peer, age 73, of Shawano, Wisconsin, passed away on October 2nd, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1953 to the late Leonard and Dolores (Rollin) Zellner. Pat was raised in New Franken, Wisconsin, where she developed a love of gardening, handcrafts, helping to raise her younger siblings, and other homemaking skills that she carried with pride throughout her life. On September 8th, 1973, she married Thomas Peer. Together, they celebrated 53 years of marriage and raised two children. They frequently attended classic car shows, music events, and festivals. Every weekend was a new adventure for the family as they visited different cities and local events.

Pat was a devout Catholic throughout her life. She was deeply involved with her Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano, where she frequently volunteered to prepare and serve meals for families following Funeral Masses. She also assisted every year with the annual Parish rummage sale.

Pat was deeply involved in her local community, as well. She volunteered with the Wolf River 4-H Club in numerous capacities and at the Shawano County Fair vegetable judging pavilion. Pat was also very involved with her childrens' school activities, chaperoning many field trips and assisting with sports team concession sales.

Pat had many talents and hobbies, including gardening, making jam, cooking, and preparing a vast assortment of Christmas candies and cookies each year. She excelled at cross-stitching, crocheting, and other needlework. Her handmade gifts will always be cherished.

Pat is survived by her husband, Thomas; her children, Kathryn (Eric) Rouse and Michael (Jaclyn) Peer; and her grandson, Mitchell. She is also survived by her siblings: Carol (Don) Soquet, Janet (Keith) Duquaine, Leon (Sharon) Zellner, Galen (Teresa) Zellner, Mark (Barb) Zellner, Steve (SueAnn) Zellner, Drew (Marti) Zellner, Dolly (Dan) Willems, Jane (Kelvin) George, and Chuck (Kelly) Zellner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Dolores (Rollin) Zellner, and her brother, Paul.

Pat will be remembered for her deep faith, her devotion to her family, and the example she set throughout her life.

A private goodbye will held by Pat's family. A memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
