Oliver Duane Morella, cherished husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away at his home in Green Bay on May 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on May 9, 1944, in Crandon to Oliver and Luella (Statezny) Morella, Oliver lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.
In 1966, Oliver met Mary Engles, and it was truly love at first sight. Their union in 1969 marked the beginning of 53 wonderful years together, filled with companionship and affection that touched everyone who knew them. Oliver was a man of many talents, pursuing several careers throughout his life with enthusiasm and a spirited heart.
An avid outdoorsman, Oliver delighted in hunting and fishing and treasured the moments spent exploring nature alongside his family and friends. His passion extended to classic cars, which he collected and showcased with Mary at numerous car shows, often returning home adorned with ribbons and trophies that symbolized their shared joy.
Oliver’s legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his three daughters, Tina Schlueter, Lisa Morella, and Sheena (Xavier Purnell) Morella; seventeen grandchildren—Phil, Nick, Abe, Benjamin, Cyril, Sebastian, Rose, Lydia, Claire, Bernie, Rayven, Devin, Camron, Xiaire, Xavier "Jr.", Tyler, and Hunter; and three great-grandchildren: Amarianna, Blaze, and Renesmae. He is also remembered fondly by many other relatives and dear friends. Oliver was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his wife, Mary.
Private family services will be held, with a Celebration of Life planned for a future date where friends and loved ones can come together to honor Oliver’s remarkable life. Memorial contributions may be made in his name via his GoFundMe page at gofund.me/64abf3abe
