Michael David Rowe, 82, of Green Bay, passed away on November 18, 2024. He was born on July 6, 1942 to John and Florence (Meier) Rowe in Green Bay. On September 1,1962; he married Joyce Suprise. He proudly served our country in the Army Reserves. Michael's favorite job was being a Firefighter for City of Green Bay. He was a voracious fisherman and hunter, he loved his yearly family trips to the Mississippi River. While preparing for retirement, Michael and Joyce built a beautiful home where they enjoyed the outdoors. Michael always appreciated his grandson, Jake, coming out to their home and helping with the lawn care, making old fashions to enjoy after a home cooked meal and always helped with clean up.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce, four daughters: Leah Penza, Jacqui (Gary) McMahon, Jenny (Rick) Hakes, and Cheri (Patrick) Robinson; 10 grandchildren: Dena, Jordan, and Luke Penza, Jake, Rachel, Sam, Seth, and Aaron Hakes, Braylon and Brei Robinson; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Rob (Patty) Rowe, and two sisters-in-law, Judy (Dave) Rank and Marilyn Suprise. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Michelle, and one brother John (Arlyne) Rowe Jr., brother-in-law, Louie Suprise and sister-in-law, Janice (Ray) LaMore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at St. John the Baptist, 2597 Glendale Ave, Green Bay; friends and family may visit from 10:00 am until 11:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 am with Father James Lucas. Private Entombment will take place in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you take a child fishing and to enjoy the outdoors.
The family would like to express a thank you to the St. Croix Hospice and Eden Vista, especially Tom, who took care of the Boss, and the family during this challenging time.
