Michael W. "Mike" Edlebeck

Michael W. "Mike" Edlebeck, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 27, 2026, after a brief battle with lung and spinal cancer. He was born April 21 1949 in Marinette, WI, son of the late George and Violet (Krause) Edlebeck and was a graduate of Lena High School.

Mike enlisted in the US Air Force after graduation. He was honorably discharged from military service in 1967, when he was called to return home and take charge of operations on the family farm. This is where he met his future wife, Judith "Judy" Rickert, while driving Bulk Milk Truck for Morning Glory Dairy. Four years later the two were married at St. Charles Church on September 27, 1974 in Lena. Mike and Judy celebrated 47 years of marriage before she passed away April 7, 2021.

Mike was a very talented woodworker and enjoyed crafting gifts for family and friends. He was also passionate about his 1974 Four Door Cadillac Seville, attending several car shows and winning many first place trophies. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Michael is survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Pat (Dan) Bacon and Debbie (Roy) Van De Hey, 2 brothers-in-law, Steve (Gen) Rickert and Peter (Kay) Rickert, close friend, Charlie, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judy.

Per Mike's wishes, no services will be held.
