Matthew Bray

With profound sadness we share that our son and brother, Matthew M Bray, crossed over to his soulful home on August 26, 2025. His death was the result of complications from stage 4 kidney disease.

Matt's life was a mixture of mental health struggles, softened at times by moment of humor and joy. He was smart, funny, helpful and kind; even throughout the years of misfiring brain cells and disconnected thoughts.Matt was born in Green Bay, WI on September 26, 1973 to Patricia (Joslin) Bray, and adopted by David P Bray in 1984, the man who chose to be his forever dad. Matt is survived by his mom, Patricia; his brother Eric P. Bray, his sister Kayla A (Bray) Gueths, and his grandmother Geraldine L (Kelly) Joslin. He was preceded in death by his dad, David, his maternal grandfather, Iner Joslin; by his paternal grandparents Kenneth M Bray and Joanne (Ourada) Bray; along with his great-grandparents and various aunts and uncles.We are grateful Matt is no longer suffering physically or mentally, but our world has taken a steep slide into another layer of grief.

Bless you dear Matt, and may you find peace in the arms of the angels, or on that fishing boat with your Dad, Grandpa Iner, and your first puppy Benji, as you float on the calm waters beyond the veil...💔
