Mary M. Klapper

Mary Margaret Klapper, 77, of Allouez, passed away on March 20, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on May 20, 1945 to the late John and Josephine (Lewis) Basche. She loved being with her family, reading, listening to Elvis, and watching golf.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Teri (Brian McAuliffe) Klapper, three sons: Jeffrey (Kathy Peil) Klapper, Jamie (Janice Coopman) Klapper, and Joel (Jill) Klapper; seven grandchildren: Kimberly and Tayler McAuliffe, Aprile Holmes, Brittany and Brandan Coopman, Violet and Vincent Klapper; one great-granddaughter, Krystal; one sister, Jane Basche, one brother, Robert (Carolyn) Basche, and one sister-in-law, Carol Basche; she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vern, one brother, John "Jack" Basche Jr.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, with a memorial services to follow at 4:00 pm.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Janice, Heather, Cary and the nurses with Unity Hospice for all their care, comfort and support that was given to Mary these past few weeks.
