Mark Matthew Zirbel

Mark Matthew Zirbel, age 53, of Green Bay, passed peacefully away on July 18, 2026.

He was born on February 9, 1973 to the late Gerald "Jerry" Zirbel and Eileen (Kane) DeCleene in Green Bay, WI. Mark was a proud graduate of Green Bay East High School with the class of 1991.

Mark was a gifted photographer, he regularly frequented Door County, and the Upper Peninsula to photograph the beautiful nature scenes. He filled his home with the wonderful photos he'd taken over the years, and was exceptionally proud of the photos he took on his trips throughout the United States. He was truly gifted with the eyes for photography, and many of his photos can be found shared on his Facebook page. When not spending time in nature, Mark could be found working on his fiction writing.

Mark is survived by his brother, Daniel Zirbel, his step-father; Pete DeCleene, his 3 step-siblings, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jerry Zirbel and Eileen DeCleene.

There will be a private service for Mark's family and friends at a later date.
