Mark Anthony Kaye, Sr., 59, has passed away on September 24, 2025, after a short battle with liver cancer surrounded by his loved ones. Mark was born on July 28, 1966, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Richard (Dick) and Marcella (Mertens) Kaye. Mark grew up in the Green Bay area and attended Green Bay Preble High School. Mark was united in marriage to his loving wife, Michelle (Shelly) Vandenack on August 11, 1984, with whom he got to share his children with.
Mark was employed at Tower Pallet where coworkers became friends and family. In his spare time, Mark and Shelly spent a lot of time up north with their daughter, Heather, grandson, Alex, his fur baby, Teddy, his sisters, his brother-in-law, Kenny, nieces, and nephews. Mark loved fishing of all kinds and boating with a couple of his nephews. Nieces, he would cause a ruckus (RAWR) with on the golf cart and just hanging out. In the early years for Mark, he spent a lot of time working on stock cars and building wood things.
Mark is survived by his wife, Shelly; daughter, Heather; son, Mark, Jr.; his fur baby, Teddy; grandsons, Alex and Ryan; granddaughter, Bo - all of Green Bay. Mark is further survived by his brother, Danny "Doc" (Tammy) Kaye of Green Bay; sisters: Tina Spriggs, Carol (Kenny) Becks and Lori Burzinski - all of Green Bay. His father-in-law, Dennis (Janice) Vandenack; brother-in-laws, Todd Vandenack and Darrell (Cindy) Perra; sister-in-laws: Shelly Tingley, Hope (Dave) Zellner, Karen (Tommy) Hasenauer and Tara (Mike) Doxtator; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rick Kaye; sisters, Darlene Rouse and Patty Miller; nephew, Jesse Burzinski; grandparents: Mike and Laura (Degrand) Mertens and Victor and Rose (Wicker) Kaye; and mother-in-law, Linda Vandenack.
A Gathering Time for family and friends to be together and share memories for Mark will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54301.
