Margaret M. Deneys, age 88, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 20, 2026, surrounded by members of her loving family. She was born August 3rd, 1937 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Harold and Josephine DeKeyser.

Margaret grew up with her parents involved in the commercial vegetable business in the Green Bay area. She graduated from Green Bay East and on 0ctober 3rd, 1959 she married Donald Deneys. They shared 59 loving years of marriage before Donald passed in 2019. They were blessed with 4 children. Margaret and Don continued the commercial vegetable business and were vendors at the farmers market in Green Bay for 43 years, retiring in 2016. They sold vegetables and Margaret was known as “The Rug Lady” for her beautifully crafted hand-woven rag rugs and crocheted slippers.

Margaret loved her family deeply and was the example homemaker and farm wife. While Don worked at the paper mill, she took care of the home, the vegetable farm and the family. She loved to play sheepshead and do her word search books.

Margaret is survived by her 4 children: Barb (Don) Wisniewski, Keith (Connie) Deneys, Kurt (Michele) Deneys and Brad (Cathleen) Deneys; 9 grandchildren: Marcus (Sarah) Hennig, Kyle (Brittany) Deneys, Tamara (Luke) Baranczyk, Anthony (Chantel) Deneys, Alex (Danielle) Peterson, Kevin Deneys (Ashton Fields), Shannon (Marisa) Deneys, Cody and Keira Deneys; step-grandchildren: Josh Wisniewski, Dana (Kirk) Daniels, Eric (Ashley) Brunette and Erin (Luke) Boelter, Josh and Kimberly Moesch; 21 great-grandchildren: Mady, Kinley and Nathan Hennig, Ziggy Wisniewski, Kaleb and Maxwell Daniels, Emmett Deneys, Emma, Sawyer, Hudson (AKA Ernie), and Charlie Deneys, Brody Novak, Noah Peterson, Berklee Boelter, Annalynn and Aurora Deneys, Qwynn Deneys, Rylan Weise and Colton Feld, and Emery and Owen Brunette; her brother, Dick (Marilyn) DeKeyser and sisters-in-laws, Marilyn Wilson and Amy De Keyser. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Lorraine Deneys; sisters, Patrica Durbin and Betty Georgia; brother, Jim DeKeyser; brother-in-law, Harley Wilson and a granddaughter, Brianna Deneys.

Visitation will be held at Assumption BVM Parish (125 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, WI), Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 6 PM with Fr. Bill Rooney O.F.M., celebrant. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.

The family would like to thank the nurses on 5th Floor at St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
