Marcia J. Johnson

Marcia J. Johnson, 96, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Alexandria, MN on March 10, 1930. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and moved to Green Bay in 1953.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Horn; grandson: Steve (Cory) Horn, granddaughter, Nichole (Kenny) Ansel, great-grandchildren: Blayd (Francinny) Ansel, Kiana Ansel, Zander Ansel, Garret Horn, and Payton Horn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gertrude Arentsen, son-in-law, Charlie Horn, brother, James Arentsen, and a niece and a nephew.

Per Marcia's wishes, no formal service will be held.

Marcia's family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the Brown County ADRC, staff at Unity Hospice, and the nurses and staff on 5th floor of St. Mary's Hospital who gave her kind and compassionate care during her final days.

A special thanks goes out to the administrators and staff at Blue Jay Springs Senior Living for the tender care they gave her for the past year.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Green Bay Humane Society. Her love for dogs and cats was never ending.
