Mamie L. Robinson

Mamie Louise Robinson, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2024.

She was born on July 5, 1936 in Sandhook, Mississippi. Mamie was the daughter of the late Alberta Spike and the late John R. Lewis.

Mamie married Wilton James Robinson on Sept. 15, 1956. Together they raised two sons, and two daughters.

She is survived by her children; Rosilan C. Lewis, and Grindl J. Robinson, and her sisters; Joanie (the late Thomas Jefferson) Jefferson of Angie, Louisiana, and Nancy C. Lewis of Angie, Louisiana. Mamie is further survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and everyone who had the opportunity to know her throughout her life.

Mamie was preceded in death by her children; Zedee Lewis and Linda J. Robinson, and her siblings; J.J. Lewis, Vestie (Clarence) Rodger, Anges (Frank) Moore, Jason Lewis, and Jessie James (Ernstine) Lewis.
