Lorraine Louise Jensen, 100, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on August 13, 2025 at Woodside Villa surrounded by her children. She was born on September 19, 1924 to Robert R. Giese and the former Ella (Cook) Giese.
Lorraine graduated from East De Pere High School. After graduation, she went on to work at H.C. Prange Company, where Curly Lambeau's wife also worked at the time. On April 10, 1948, she married Thomas R. Jensen at St. Willebrord's Parish in Green Bay. After marriage, she spent time raising her family.
Lorraine was an advocate for Special Olympics and Jefferson School. She spent a lot of time writing letters for the Pro Life cause. She loved gardening and attending her roses and going to auctions and rummage sales with her husband. In later years, she spent time in St. Petersburg, FL, vacationing with her husband and daughter, Lori Jo. Her greatest love was her family, she cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lorraine loved family trips at Boot Lake and Archibald Lake.
In her later years, she could always be seen outside pushing her gardening cart. Lorraine had a love for dogs, and they loved her back. The neighborhood dogs walking by would always stop and greet her. She was very fortunate to be able to stay in her home until the age of 99.
Lorraine is survived by her loving children: Paula (Bob) Piton, Suzanne (Mark) Pietras, Tom (Dawn) Jensen, and Lori Jo Jensen; her grandchildren: Suzanne (Kelvin) Faust, Melissa (Ryan) Nuthals, Amy Trinkner, Tara (Joe) Jensen, Jennie (Jose) LaBoy, Eric (Shelby) Jensen, and Brian (Ashley) Jensen; and her great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Austin, Madalyn, Sophia, Ashlynn, Ava, Keizer, Jadien, Marek, Lincoln, Caroline, Daphne, and Jacob; she is further survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Jensen; her parents, Robert and Ella Giese; her siblings: Eleanor (Noel) Bermingham, Robert (Donna) Giese, and Arvella (Bob) Gerondale.
Special thanks to her girls at Woodside Villa One for the love and care they gave Lorraine.
