Lornell "Lori" R. Byng

Lornell "Lori" R. Byng, 74, of Green Bay, passed away on January 28, 2026, at home with her family by her side.

She was born on October 7, 1951 to Wilbur and Myrtle (Hellmann) McGraw in Oconto, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bayport High School. On June 6, 1970 she married David Byng. Together they raised their three children in Green Bay.

Lori was as a Dietary Aide for 44 years at Eden Brooke Nursing Home. She had a passion for her career and enjoyed going to work everyday and the people she worked with.

Lori loved her family, everything she did was for her family. She was known for her famous deviled eggs and loved making banana bread and fudge for her grandkids. She was a woman of strength and she instilled that into her children. She spent her time doing word finds, listening to polka and old country music. She loved her Yorkshire terrier, Mr. Gibbs.

Lori is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David Byng; daughters, Jodi (William) Brice Kami (Mike Spice) Wypishinski; grandchildren: Dylan (Brandi) Brice, Dustin (Tyah Hohn) Litkey, Kaila (Alex) VanDeurzen, Kole (Emily) Brice, Brenna Wypishinski and Lucas Byng; great-grandchildren: Nolan Brice, Huntley Brice, Hudson Litkey, Kaden VanDuerzen and Addie VanDuerzen; and daughter-in-law, Andrea Byng.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cory Byng; her parents; and her siblings: Diane Olson, Richard Deaton and Darlene Leslie.

A Memorial Service for Lori will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54301. A time for friends and family to visit and pay respects will begin at 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
