Linda "Blondy" Lou VanBoxtel Lanser

Linda "Blondy" Lou Gorecki VanBoxtel Lanser, got her wings and flew off to her next adventure. She was surrounded in love by her husband and children.

She was born on July 24, 1953 to Alvin and Evelyn Gorecki in Green Bay, WI. Blondy grew up in Seymour, graduating with the Class of 1971. She worked for 30 plus years at Sporting Goods Stores in Green Bay, where her passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing developed into lifelong hobbies. Her desire to share her hobbies with others lead her to taxidermy, so she could display many different animals throughout her home.

On May 18th, 2019, she married her best friend of 20 years, Steven Lanser from Suamico. Linda and Steve built their home and lives together over the last fourteen years in Little Suamico. The couple was blessed with many joyous memories, from hunting bear in Canada, fishing for halibut in Alaska, hunting for caribou in Alaska, and far many other's that they cherished deeply. She was always up for adventure, whether it was parasailing, snorkeling, or scuba diving in Mexico, her opportunities to go skydiving, and the cruises together with Steve. When she wasn't outdoors adventuring, Blondy loved to entertain her friends and family, cook, ride her Harley with Steve, and participate in pool, and dart leagues.

Blondy is survived by her loving husband; Steve, her children; Burt VanBoxtel, Clint (April) VanBoxtel, Nicole (Byran) Lanser, and John (Katie) Lanser, and her grandson, Jack Lanser. She is further survived by her brothers; David (Barb) Gorecki, and Arnold Gorecki, two important people; John and Janice Nooyan, her lifelong friends, Deb, Shirley, Linda and Kathy, and many friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Alvin and Evelyn.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay WI). With her Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 pm with Fr. William officiating.
