LeRoy Pezewski, age 82, passed away on September 3, 2026 after a short illness. He was born in Steven's Point on July 1, 1944.
After graduation he enlisted in the US Army as an Infantry Mechanic, and proudly served 3 years before returning to his hometown. He then moved to Green Bay and was employed at Green Bay Packaging for 40 years.
He married Cindy Olson and the couple was blessed with 37 years of marriage. They enjoyed camping and family gatherings together. LeRoy was a true outdoorsman, he was a gifted hunter and fisherman, and when he no longer could go he kept an immaculate garden at his home. There was no doubt he was dedicated Packer fan, and he loved the team. But it was clear to all that his family and friends meant everything to him, except during the game. In the past several years his favorite place to go was the Courthouse Bar & Grill for a burger and a beer.
He is survived by his sons: Leon (Rhonda) Pezewski, and Leonard (Tasha) Pezewski, his granddaughters: Victoria and Dakota (Cody), and his 6 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Jim Pezewski, his niece, Laeklyn Vandermuss and his special friends: Dave, Tina, and Annette.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Cindy, his parents, and his brother, Rick.
A Celebration of Life will be held for LeRoy on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Courthouse Bar and Grill (1654 Cass St, Green Bay, WI 54302).
