Lawrence "Larry" Baeten passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Larry was born in West De Pere, Wisconsin on April 14, 1945. Larry served in the US Navy from 1968-1970, during the Vietnam era, but was stationed for most of his service in Australia serving as barber on a communications base in North West Cape, Australia. He finished out his service on USS Kitty Hawk in Bremerton, Washington. He then went to work at Super Valu Stores, Inc., as a warehouse man and forklift operator.
He was known for his witty sense of humor and love of travel and stock trades.
Larry is survived by one daughter, Tina Marie Baeten of Green Bay; his daughter's mother and friend, Marcia Baeten; his sister, Eleanor "Ellie" Teresinski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: Father Lambert "Clayton", Earl and Blanche Sigl.
A Memorial Service for Larry is being scheduled, please check shortly for the final details.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Freedom House and/or to the church that Larry was a dedicated member to: Bay Evangelical Covenant Church.
