Lawrence "Larry" Baeten

Lawrence "Larry" Baeten passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Larry was born on April 14, 1945, in West De Pere, Wisconsin. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam era. Much of his service was spent in Australia, where he worked as a barber at the communications base at North West Cape. He completed his military service aboard the USS Kitty Hawk while stationed in Bremerton, Washington.

Following his honorable discharge, Larry worked for Super Valu Stores, Inc. as a warehouseman and forklift operator.

Larry will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and his love of travel and stock trading. He enjoyed following the markets, exploring new places, and sharing stories and laughter with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Marie Baeten (Peg Kubiak) of Green Bay; Tina's mother and his longtime friend, Marcia Baeten; his sister, Eleanor "Ellie" Teresinski; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine (Heezen) Baeten; his brother, Father Lambert "Clayton" Baeten; his brother, Earl Baeten; and his sister, Blanche Sigl.

A Memorial Service for Larry will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Bay Evangelical Covenant Church in Green Bay. Family and friends may gather at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Military Funeral Honors will be rendered following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Freedom House and/or Bay Evangelical Covenant Church, where Larry was a dedicated member.
