Larry "Jake" Leanna

Larry "Jake" Leanna, age 81, of Oconto WI, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2025.

Larry was born on April 14, 1944 in Menominee, MI, to Joseph and Clara (Haulotte) Leanna. Larry grew up in Dunbar WI, and graduated from Pembine High School. After graduation Larry moved to Milwaukee where he worked at Briggs and Straton for several years. There he met and married his wife, Kathy. Larry was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. He always had a joke to tell. He later moved to Oconto where he operated a thrift store until retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Marilyn O'Neill, a brother-in-law; John O'Neill and a sister-in-law; Janice Leanna.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, a brother; Robert Leanna, and several nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (716 Madison St, Oconto, WI 54153). With Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 am.
