Kendall Lee Korbas was born on March 25th, 1939, in Wabeno, Wisconsin. His passing occurred on October 25th, 2025. Ken grew up working in his parents’ feed mill and grocery store (Sparks Food Store). He graduated from Wabeno High School, where he was part of the football team. He then served six years in the Navy.
After his service completion, he met the love of his life, Joan Lane. He had an amazing life full of fun adventures, vacationing, cruises, bowling, and various other activities together or with family. Ken enjoyed staying active through bowling, golfing, hunting, and spending time outdoors as well as walking with the neighbor. After his time in the Navy, Ken worked at Diebold Inc for 26 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed volunteer work at the NEW Zoo and kept busy by gaining more knowledge through classes and books. Ken was a kind, generous, and intelligent man who lived life to the fullest.
He lives on through his wife, Joan Korbas, and their son, Jason Korbas, as well as their granddaughter, Jackie Fieck. His siblings Jean, Judy (Terry), and Don will continue to carry him in their hearts as well. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Pansy Korbas, as well as his brother Kerwin Korbas (Lee).
The world has truly lost a good man, but Heaven has gained another soul. Selah.
A Celebration of Life will take place on December 6th, 2025, at the Ski Lodge by the NEW Zoo (4418 Reforestation Rd, Suamico, WI 54313) between 1 and 4PM with a Pastoral Service at 1:30PM.
