Kathryn Green

Kathryn Allen Green, age 95, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born May 20, 1930 in Fond du Lac, WI, daughter of the late Earle S. and Marjorie J. (Kellogg) Allen and was a graduate of North Fond du Lac High School, Class of 1948.

Kathryn attended UW-Madison and Green Bay business school. She married Patrick N. Green, June 11, 1955. A week after their marriage, Pat entered Seminary in Evanston, IL, with Kathryn at his side, taking on secretarial work at the Seminary. Rev. Pat and Kathryn walked together in faith as they answered the call to serve each congregation. Kathryn and Rev. Pat served churches in Linden, Edmund, and Pleasant View; Wild Rose and Dopp; Green Bay Bethany and Suamico; and Wisconsin Rapids, where they retired in 1993. Patrick passed away on May 15, 2024. Kathryn was gifted musically and her roles included organist, junior choir director and bell choir director. She also taught private piano lessons to many fortunate students.

Kathryn is survived by two sons: Frank K. Green, wife Lynette, and their children Caitlin (Wes) and Logan (Taylor); and Daniel A. Green, wife Karie, and their children Stephan, Alison (Logan), and Kristen (Joe).

Visitation will be at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Unity Hospice, Bethany United Methodist Church, or Suamico United Methodist Church.
