June A. Quatsoe

June A. Quatsoe, age 75, of Green Bay and formerly of Banbury, England, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

June was born on December 11, 1950, in Banbury, England, to Constance and Albert Paylor. Following Albert’s passing, Constance married Peter Morbey, who later adopted June and her two older sisters, Margaret and Carol. The family grew with the addition of June’s two younger sisters, Dianne and Jackie.

June had many fond memories of growing up in Bodicote, England, alongside her four sisters. She especially cherished memories of family holidays to the coast and Sunday drives through the surrounding villages. June developed a love of reading and knitting at a young age, two hobbies that remained a meaningful part of her life for decades.

In 1970, June met Terry Quatsoe while he was stationed in England. The couple married in 1971 and welcomed their first child, Darren, in 1972. The following year, June and Terry moved their young family to Terry’s hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Their daughter, Michelle, was born in 1975.

June treasured the family’s trips to England to visit relatives. Although she was only able to return home every few years, she made sure to bring pieces of her English heritage into her family’s everyday life. She proudly continued traditions such as Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding and Christmas crackers, sharing her love of her homeland with her children and grandchildren.

June cherished her years as a stay-at-home mother and devoted herself to raising her children, seeing them through high school and supporting them every step of the way. As her children grew older, June began working outside the home. She eventually found a rewarding career at Schneider National, where she spent 20 years working in Logistics.

Family was at the heart of June’s life. She loved her children and grandchildren endlessly and took great pride in attending every sporting event, performance, and activity they participated in. She could always be heard cheering the loudest—even when she wasn’t quite sure of the rules. To her grandchildren, she affectionately became known as “Green Bay Grandma” and “Pink Grandma.”

June was also a lifelong animal lover and rarely went without a beloved pet by her side. Her pets were undoubtedly spoiled by her seemingly endless supply of treats and affection.

From childhood, June had a natural eye for fashion and a love of glamour. She took great pride in her appearance and was often ahead of the latest trends. Whether it was her perfectly coordinated dresses, beautifully manicured nails, or carefully chosen accessories, June always made sure she was dressed to impress.

One of June’s greatest lifelong passions was knitting and crocheting. She loved creating baby blankets, clothing, and stuffed animals. Over the years, she lovingly made and gifted hundreds of baby blankets and toys to expecting families. Her generosity knew few limits, and she found great joy in creating something special with her own hands and giving it to others.

June was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her generous spirit, her English traditions, her love of animals and crafts, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on through the many people she loved and the countless handmade gifts she created and shared throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

June is survived by her children, Michelle (Steve) LaBlanc and Darren (Debbie) Quatsoe; her grandchildren: Harrison, Forrester, Samantha, Alissondra, and Max; her sisters: Margaret, Carol (Ken), Dianne (Brendan) and Jackie (Martyn); June is further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

June is preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, Paul; and her grandson, Coleman LaBlanc.

A Memorial Ceremony to honor June will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301). Family and friends may gather for Visitation starting at 4:00 PM until the time of service.
