Judith "Ju Ju" Bourassa, age 79, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on September 27, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 9, 1945 to Orville and Genevieve Wyent in Lena, WI.
On June 29th, 1963, she married Byron Bourassa. For 61 years, Judy and Byron lived and raised their children in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin.
She was a proud member of the Green Bay Moose Lodge, where she enjoyed playing Shuffle Board and attending numerous events, notably the Holiday Dazzle. Judy was an avid Packer fan, who loved to travel to away games, especially the 1996 Super Bowl. She also had a passion for baking, and was proud of the fact that she instilled that passion onto her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her loving Husband; Byron, her Children; John (Jolie) Bourassa, Scott (Robyn) Bourassa, Dawn Snethen, Brenda (Steve) Hecker, Mark (Shelley) Bourassa, and Dan (Staci) Bourassa, her 15 Grandchildren; Cassandra, John Jr, Nicole, William (Brandi), Jennifer, Andrew, Bryan, Lisa (Neil), Heather (James), Alex, Emily, and Taylor, and her 13 Great-Grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings; Jerome (Lenore), Barb (Jack), and Mike (Lois), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and beloved dogs; Missy and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Orville Jr, and Robert, her sisters; Marianne, Mercedes, and Johanne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, with Mass to follow at 11:00 am at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Judy's family would like to extend a special thanks to Kevin and Elaine, and the men and women of Shuffle Board League for their prays and support. As well as the Doctors and Nurses of Aurora Baycare and the Aurora Hospice Team (Angie and Luanne) who took great care of her.
