Listen to Obituary

Joyce Elaine Huth, 93, of Green Bay, passed peacefully to be reunited with her husband, Richard, on August 22, 2026. Joyce was born at home on December 8, 1932 to Vivian and Claude Caldie in Green Bay. She graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1951. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital as an administrative assistant for 20 years.

Joyce married the love of her life, Richard Huth, on May 1, 1954. Joyce's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her three wonderful children: Glenn, Dave, and Pam.

Joyce was a proud member of the West Side Moravian Church her entire life. She was baptized there as a child and later in life, was happy to volunteer as the church librarian, a bible study participant, and a home visitor.

Joyce and Richard loved to travel together, especially National Parks and visiting Dave and his family in Utah. Every summer, Joyce and Richard took their annual trip to Star Lake to spend time with friends and family in the lodge. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed watching movies and plays, going to concerts and listening to music. Joyce was fascinated by the cosmos and loved the work of Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Joyce is survived by her children: Glenn (Dorothy) Huth, Dave (Monica French) Huth, Pam (Chris) Clough; her grandchildren: Will (Taylor Kirby) Huth, Vince (Nina) Huth, Kerry (Will Ferguson) Huth, Derick Huth, Emily (Thomas Gebes) Huth, Forrest Huth; great-grandchildren: Atlas Huth, Mesa Huth, and Cedar Huth. Joyce is further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Huth; her parents; and her siblings: Thomas, Maurita, Jack, and Robert.

In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in honor of Joyce.

Joyce's family would like to express their gratitude to all the wonderful caregivers at Woodside Lutheran Home and to Unity Hospice, especially Jan, her amazing volunteer.

Family and friends may gather for Visitation and celebration of her life on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at NOON at the West Side Moravian Church (1707 S. Oneida St., Green Bay, WI 54304). A Memorial Ceremony for Joyce will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM.
