Joan S. Herlache, age 89, passed away June 29, 2024. She was born to Caroline (Larscheid) and Michael Maloney on May 17, 1935 in Green Bay.
She was a soloist for First Church of Christ Scientist (Christian Science Church} for 48 years. She also sang for many events as a Soloist with the Green Bay City Band, 4th of July Fireworks at Bay Beach, and also sang the National Anthem for a Green Bay Packer Game at Lambeau Field in the 1970's. Joan sang at The Admiral Flatley Park dedication which featured the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels.
She taught piano and voice lessons in her home, and she babysat for many children in her home through the years. She enjoyed fishing with her husband Dave, spending time with her family, and was an avid Milwaukee Brewer Fan.
Joan is survived by family members: Fran Gee, Jim (Kristi) Gee, Tom (Nancy) Gee, Linda (Curt) Cootway, and Lisa (Darren) VanEss. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave, Sisters Mercedes, Delores, Dorothy, Betty, and Brother Michael.
The family would like to give thanks to Bellin Hospital, the staff at Eden Vista Assisted Living of Allouez, Unity Hospice, and Newcomer Funeral Home. And a special thanks to Jennifer and Dean Aerts.
The Family will hold a private memorial for Joan.
