Jerome "Jerry" K. Rost

Jerome "Jerry" Keith Rost, 72, of Coleman, passed away at home after a battle with a long term illness on May 29, 2026. He was born on January 5, 1954 to William and Marion (Konop) Rost in Marinette, WI.

Jerry graduated from Coleman High School with the Class of 1972. After graduating high school, he moved to Houston, Texas. He began working as a carpenter and later returned to his hometown in 1982. After moving back home, Jerry bought an acre of land and built his own home by Rost Lake.

Jerry enjoyed golfing and loved spending time outdoors. He was an animal lover, taking care of any cats that made their way onto his property. He also cherished the many memories he had of his dogs. Jerry was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.

He is survived by his loving siblings: Diane (Art) Skarda, Carla (David) Stodola, Bonnie Rosner, and Dennis (Colleen) Rost; his step-siblings: Jeff (Rosie) Nowak, Kathy (Dan) Fischer, and Julie (Joe) Baranek; Jerry is further survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Cleo; his brother, Allen Rost; his sister, Vicki Baker; and his step-brother, Mike Nowak. He is further preceded by his nephew, Tony Stodola, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Per Jerry's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Jerry will be laid to rest in St. Johns Cemetery in Coleman, WI.
