Jeri Lyn Jenkins-Kirchner, 62, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 4, 1963, to Alvin and Patricia (Loy) Jenkins in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Jeri Lyn graduated from West De Pere High School in 1981. Following high school, she briefly attended the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh before traveling to Maui, Hawaii (Lahaina), for a Christmas break vacation with her family. She fell in love with Hawaii and made it her home for several years.
Jeri Lyn later returned to Green Bay, where she found a passion for sales in hospitality. She started a career in Real Estate. She got married and moved to Shawano to raise her children.
She was a proud and dedicated member of Green Bay Alcoholics Anonymous and helped many women in the Green Bay area on their journey to recovery. Jeri Lyn was also a loving grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren, a role she cherished deeply.
She enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, spending time with her family, and traveling—especially trips to Florida to visit her brother and her parents. Jeri Lyn will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and the care she showed to everyone around her.
Jeri Lyn is survived by her loving son, Jacob Kirchner (Amber Freeman); daughter, Jessica Kirchner; five grandchildren: Leo, Samuel, Roman, Braxton and Sella; siblings: Bill Jenkins (Shonna Jenkins) and Jon (Naomi) Jenkins; and nieces and nephews: Crystal, Ike, Stormy, Andrew and Lucy; and cousins, further relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
