Jamey Glynn Stiles, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly from heart complications in Green Bay on October 14, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on September 5, 1965, in Green Bay, and will be remembered as a devoted family man, a hardworking craftsman, and a person whose kindness and humor left a lasting impression on those around him.
Jamey was truly a jack of all trades. Capable with his hands and a gifted construction worker, he brought skill, effort, and pride to his work. He was a highly capable mover, and people could count on him when strength, experience, and his perfect placement of people's belongings. There was truly no one more capable of safely and efficiently filling a moving truck, there was never any space unused. He was a hard worker in every sense, someone who approached life with determination and a willingness to help wherever he could.
Outside of work, Jamey was a dedicated Brewer and Packer fan. His passion drove him to host on many occasions, where his chili was always the star. He was a gifted cook who loved to spoil his family at all the gatherings, making meals that brought everyone together. He recently had the one-in-a-lifetime opportunity of a skydiving experience on his birthday, something he was very proud of.
Those who knew Jamey will remember a man who was very caring and generous, someone who would willingly give the shirt off his back. Who was always available to help friends, family or even a complete stranger, and whos wonderful sense of humor made time spent with him all the more meaningful. He was a very spiritual individual, and wrote exceptional poems to connect with his faith. But throughout every part of his life, his greatest pride and joy was always his family.
He is survived by his son, Taylor James “TJ” Stiles, his daughters, Lacey Mae Stiles and Mikayla Dorner, and his beloved 9 grandchildren; Brealyn, Karina, Athena, Riley, Sincere, Serenity, Saint, Vincent and Kamaria. He is also survived by his siblings, Norman (Jeanne Reinke) Stiles, Neil Stiles, and Ellie Stiles, his nieces and nephews; Alex, Sheena, Cole, Jasmine, Stephanie, Nicole, Chase, Nicholas, and Shayne, and many other great- and great-great- nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jamey was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kaliana Stiles, his parents; Neil and Willa Mae Stiles, and his grandparents, Richard Johnson and Pearl Stanley Johnson, and Curtis Stiles and Elenore Stiles.
Jamey’s life was marked by generosity, laughter, faith, and deep love for those closest to him. He will be dearly missed and warmly remembered by his family and friends, who carry forward the memory of his caring heart, his helping hands, and the joy he brought to everyone.
There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor at a later date. Please check back for more information.
In Heaven
In our fragile earthly vessels, we must face a grim reality; that the bodies we inhabit, are born to become a fatality. With genuine sympathy we mourn, who death has embraced. Yet God has gathered their soul, in Heaven it has been placed!
We may grieve for our loss, but should rejoice for heaven's gain; which will help ever so slightly, to relieve our mourning pain! Our mortal lives continue, with a void inside out heart; that has been caused by a unity, that death has tore apart!
We question the validity of the truth we can not believe. The thought of life without them, we are not able to conceive. Whether it is a member of our family, or even just a friend. The emptiness we experience, will never really end.
But comfort shall be ours, through our Father from above. Who knows the pain of separation, from those we truly love! For His people turned away, and put the son to death upon the cross. They spit into His face, and laughed when His life was lost.
Death is but a new beginning, that seems senseless at the time. Yet by the gracious love of Jesus, it is really quite sublime! Though we will ever mourn the loss, of our loved ones warm embrace. God has gathered their soul, in Heaven they have a place!
