James "Jim" E. Saunders

James E. Saunders, 80, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2025. He was born June 17, 1945 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Willard and Marie Saunders. 

James was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served his country with honor. After his military career, he worked for POTTS Transport until retiring early at the age of 59. He was known for his unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family. James also had a passion for working on classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows, where he won many awards for his vehicles.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of 54 years; his son, Jamie Woodall of Texas; daughters Dawn (Paul) and Sheri, both of Green Bay; grandchildren Jessica (Robbie) Schmidt, Mariah (Gregory) Davis, and Jonathan Muldrew; five great-grandchildren; and sisters Judy and Jeanne, both of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Tom; and his sister, Mary.
