⁷We are deeply saddened to share the passing of James “Jim” A. DeCamp, a hardworking, humble, and kind‑hearted man who lived his life with quiet strength, deep faith and an appreciation for the natural world. He found peace in the outdoors and joy in the simple beauty that surrounded him.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge, carrying with him throughout his life a strong sense of duty, integrity, and respect.

A dedicated and reliable provider, Jim worked for 35 years as a tool grinder for Ansul/Tyco in Marinette, Wisconsin. Beyond his work, Jim also had a passion and talent for upholstery. He took pride in restoring worn pieces and creating beautiful, lasting work with his skilled hands.

Most important, Jim was the proud father of four children: James (Margaret) DeCamp, Tori (Brett) Weber, Tanya (Kurt) Ditzman and Eric DeCamp; grandfather to eight; and great‑grandfather to thirteen. His family was his greatest joy, and the love he poured into each generation will remain his enduring legacy.

Born into a large family, Jim had eight siblings. He is survived by one brother, Ray (Kathy) DeCamp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bernice DeCamp and 7 siblings: Duane "Zeke", Kathy, Carol, Nancy, Jerry, David, and Gary.

Those who knew Jim will remember his true spirit, strong values, and the way he kept his circle small and authentic. He taught by example, showing the importance of dedication, kindness, and appreciating the simple blessings of each day.

We find comfort in knowing Jim is now at peace. His memory will continue to guide, inspire, and live on in all who loved him.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4 to 6 PM. A celebration of life service will follow at 6 PM with full military honors.

A special thank‑you to his granddaughter, Alyssa, whose loving care this past month allowed him to remain in his home.
